Pre-Treatment Care:
Do not wax, pluck, thread, or use chemical depilatories for 4 weeks leading up to your session to ensure the hair follicle remains intact for the laser to target.
Clean-shave the target treatment area closely 12 to 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.
Avoid direct, unprotected sun exposure, tanning beds, or self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks prior, as the laser explicitly targets melanin pigment.
Post-Treatment Care:
The treated area may look or feel like a mild sunburn (perifollicular edema); apply cold compresses or pure aloe vera if needed to soothe the skin.
Avoid tight clothing, heavy friction, deodorants, hot tubs, saunas, or hot showers on the treated area for 24 to 48 hours to prevent irritation.
Hair shedding will naturally occur over the next 1 to 3 weeks. Do not force pull or wax the shedding hairs; allow them to drop out organically.
